Remember: fear and anxiety are not the same!
Fear is a direct, focused response to a specific event or object. The key is that you are very aware of it, a clear and present danger like a loaded gun pointed at you. A singular factor causes fear.
Anxiety, however, can be as simple as the fear of getting up in front of a group of people. It's often unfocused, vague, and hard to pinpoint to a specific cause. It is difficult to describe concretely because it has so many different potential causes and degrees of intensity. For example, you may be afraid of the upcoming speech to your colleagues because your boss is in the audience, your raise depends on your performance, and it's on a subject in which you're not an expert. These are all potential causes, but you can't identify the singular cause. Your anxiety about the situation is worse than any particular thing, greater than the sum of the parts.
WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS OF PERFORMANCE ANXIETY?
It is common for people to suffer from any combination of the following symptoms when faced with a public speaking or performance situation:

THE SCIENCE OF PERFORMANCE ANXIETY
Your brain is a
vast chemical manufacturing complex, producing many potent hormones, which
have powerful effects on your psychological and physiological health.
Research indicates the balance of
neurotransmitters affects everything from stress, anxiety,
optimism, pessimism, love, calm, and other emotional feelings. These
chemicals include
serotonin,
dopamine,
adrenaline,
noradrenaline, and
endorphins, which directly influence your
mood and, to a surprising degree, the way you think. Serotonin in particular
has been the focus of much research, and is one of the lynch-pin chemicals
involved in the brain's communication and regulation, and a key factor in
our sense of well being, and, when out of balance depression and anxiety. Your own thoughts and behavior can influence the
neurotransmitters in the brain. Serotonin levels, for example, are
positively enhanced by factors like healthy diet, laughter, and exercise.
Science has made
huge leaps forward in understanding how the balance of serotonin levels
helps the brain manage stress and anxiety; the result has been a deluge of
prescription anti-depressants into the market that bolster serotonin levels (SSRIs).
What big pharmaceutical
companies don't advertise is that there are all-natural ingredients proven
to have similar benefits in balancing serotonin levels without the
prescriptions, costs, or side-effects of drugs.
SpeakAssured contains all-natural ingredients proven to have a positive effect on
serotonin levels, thereby reducing the physical symptoms of performance
anxiety. By helping you maintain a calm mental state, you feel confident and
self-assured and are better able to perform to the best of your abilities,
no matter the situation.
